Exhumation of the dead in Busoga sub region seems to be on the increase.
Residents of Nanfugaki , Busedde sub county here in Jinja district this morning woke up to two empty graves following the exhumation of two of their own.
The graves of Scovia Mpogolwa and Deziranta Kalinaki buried in the 80’s had been exhumed and their remains taken.
The area local council chairperson Paul Ababiri attributes the vice to the increasing number of traditional healers.
This comes only hours after a similar thing happened in Namayira village, Kitayundhwa sub county in Kamuli district, where the remains of late Ali Habarigani were exhumed and his skull taken.
