LC1 chairperson of Nalufenya B here in Jinja Municipal council Badaga Amuza has asked Jinja police together with the RDC of Jinja to urgently respond and investigate and cause an arrest to the contractor who took over the construction of roads at  the Jinja  Agriculture show grounds an initiative from the pledge of the  president of Uganda during his visit in 2010 at the show.

According to chairman Amuza Badaza while addressing the press today, says that he got shocked when he learnt of that last night some people connived with the contractor who took over the construction and broke the store and stole 50 drums of tarmac that was going to be used to complete the last layer to  finish the roads before being  commissioned.
He says that he has been able to address the issue to the RDC of Jinja and the DPC of Jinja police for an agent response and police responded urgently and at the site the engineer whose names are still withhold took off .


He has asked the residents of Jinja to join hands and support him for this nobal cause because it will be shameful to have the president back in Jinja to see veg work .

However, when press approached the Show Manager Eriya Kisambira he has accepted the theft and says that he has also managed to raise this fear to the president of Uganda National Farmers federation and ordered him to handle over such issues to the police .
