The COVID-19 cases in Uganda have reached 122 after last night’s updates from the Minister for Health Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng. She said from the 1,296 samples taken from truck drivers and 558 samples from the community, one truck driver tested positive.
A total of 2,854 samples was tested at the Uganda Virus Research Institute in Entebbe. This brings the total number of COVID- 19 tests in Uganda to 61,460, with 122 cases and 55 recoveries.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Uganda Police are tracing for a truck driver and all those he came in contact with after testing positive for Coronavirus. The truck driver arrived Uganda from Juba via Elegu.
