The ministry of health has set up a corona virus screening point at Busia one stop border point to help in identifying the victims more so the travelers who enters Uganda  from different countries via Kenya respectively.

Addressing the journalist, at  Busia One Stop Border Point, the head of the team, Wabwire Tonne said that one needs to be screened before crossing to Uganda, and if  the body temperatures of the person screened goes above 37.5 degrees, then that person must be retained at their hospital for further verification and also treatment is done, before she or he can continue with the journey.

He added that corona virus has no vaccines, but their work is just to screen but if any is identified then they will have inform the ministry

Since this exercise started, the health workers have so far identified one person whose temperatures were above 37.5 degrees, he was a male adult who was traveling from Mombasa to Uganda, they isolated him and he was treated  first because his temperatures were threatening, later he was left to continue.
