Residents at the villages along the porous border of Busia Uganda and Kenya, more so those at the landing sites of Majanji, have appealed to the ministry of health to establish more corona virus screening center points on the porous border of Busia district because very many people from Kenya enter into Uganda on water while others use these small paths.
They added that the ministry did well to establish the screening point at the border, but this is not enough due to the nature of the border right from Lwahaha to Lolwe islands in Namaingo district.
Most people along this border are worried about the disease which can be spread within no time, with those people who enter via these outlets without the consent of any person.
