Police spokesperson Fred Enanga acknowledged receipt of a letter of notice from Bobi wine but said it is not enough.

“Hon Robert Kyagulanyi wrote to the Uganda Police Force indicating plans to conduct a consultation meeting at Pope Paul Memorial hotel,” he confirmed

He reminded him about the meeting that was held at the electoral commission where presidential hopefuls including Bobi Wine and other stakeholders had where certain procedures were agreed.

“His delegation made 10 points on how his consultations could be streamlined and in that meeting, Bobi Wine was guided to formally communicate the said proposals to EC and police after which the harmonisation meeting was supposed to take place between him, his team and police which has not happened up to date,” Enanga noted.

The police spokesperson pointed out that instead Bobi Wine has gone ahead to indicate his next consultative meetings without harmonizing the other concerns that were raised
