Over 200 students have graduated in various disciplines at the Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training institute in Jinja district at their 11th graduation ceremony


The Minister of the Presidency Esther Mbayo who represented the Education Minister Janet Museveni read her message where she said that government is in position to upgrade the institution to a national level since tourism is one of the leading foreign exchange earner.


The Minister of Tourism, wildlife $ Antiquities Prof Emphraim Kamuntu says tourism earns the country a lot of money of the country needs to invest in.
On her part the principal of Uganda Hotel and Tourism training institute Miriam Amori Namutosi urges government through the ministry of tourism to help them address some of their challenges.
