Captain Yahaya Kakooza the newly President representative in Namayingo has called up on all members of parliament to speed up regional cooperation among member states more so Uganda and Kenya
Kakooza sounded this after Uganda revenue authority giving Boda boda cyclists Kenyan motor cycles “three month breath ” to have registered and changed Kenyan motor cycles number plates into Ugandan number plates to avoid being arrested
Kakooza , speaking to Nbs radio in Namayingo over the week end, he said that, its very important for the members of parliament to get involved in promotion of east African federation in order to ensure free trade system
Kakooza added that although Uganda revenue authority’s activities are legitimate , legislators should ensure core values of COMESA, EAC, as trade protocols in order to ensure free trade, peace and unity.
