The holy month of Ramadhan has come to an end today with Eid al-fitr celebrations world over.
Traditionally Eid prayers are held in an open area while reciting takbeerat (Praising God) by saying ‘Allahu Akbar” meaning God is great.
It is customary to eat something sweet prior to the prayer such as date filled biscuits, bread and cakes.
However, the Bugweri RDC Janet Billy Mulindwa has warned Muslims against late night celebrations that might ruin their lives.
