Federation of Uganda Football Association (Fufa) president Moses Hassim Magogo has officially paid dowry for Speaker Anita Annet Among.
Magogo doubles as the Member of Parliament for Budiope East constituency and will now officially refer to the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among as his wife. Among, the incumbent speaker of the eleventh parliament is also the woman member of parliament for Bukedea district.
According to reliable reports, the Budiope East MP paid 50 cows and 30 goats as part of the traditional marriage ceremony over the weekend.
Due to preferences from the couple, the family event was a closed-door ceremony backed by water-tight security in Bukedea district, home of parents of Anita Among.
A number of legislators close to the couple attended the ceremony notably, Hon Thomas Tayebwa, the deputy speaker of parliament, among others.
Before Anita Among came into the picture, Magogo was largely a love-smitten man whose intimate moments were shared by his other wife, Dellah Ssali, with whom they painted the city with love.
As a part of his duties as the Fufa boss, Magogo made several trips in company of Ssali with whom they toured several parts of the world during national team competitions like the Africa Cup of Nations were Cranes recently qualified.
However, the emergence of the all-powerful Among has seemingly sent Dellah Ssali down the pecking order as bae, Magogo is conspicuously seen in company of his boss and lover.
They were allegations during the speakership elections that the two would contest for speakership and deputy roles.
