The Lwemiyaga MP in Sembabule district Theodore Ssekikubo is today to appear before court on charge of attempted murder allegedly committed in 2010 during NRM primaries in Lwemiyaga.
Last Friday police led by the DPC’s of Masaka and Sembabule arrest Sekikubo as he led a group of cattle traders to Lwemiyaga cattle market defying a 3 months quarantine issued last year.
According to his lawyer Deo Musoke theses are trumped up charges against his client and keeping him in cells beyond the recommmended 48hrs.
Sekekubo in 2010 allegedly shot Habib Nsamba Kanyalutokye in his private part during the hotly constested NRM primaries where he contested with Patrick Nkalubo
