As schools open for first term 2020, Officials in charge of Education in Jinja Municipal council have expressed fear for the accumulation of un licensed schools in the area and have threatened to arrest and close them if they cannot respond to the call by the ministry of education and sports.
Mulopa Haluna in the education officer in charge of special needs in Jinja Municipal council has noted it with much concern and asked parents not to be convinced to such schools to avoid being inconvenienced in future when authorities take hand.
He says that these schools have done a lot to cause much hatred to council because even the way they employ most unqualified teachers and cause much failures but however, as a department they have already listed down such schools on their notice board and very soon they will be able to disclose them to media if they fail to respond to the council call.
