JINJA: Security authorities patrol Jinja-Kamuli high way

Police together with the UPDF in Jinja City and District have started patrols along Jinja-Kamuli high way following the strike on Monday were police used tear gas and live bullets to disperse riots’.

The Kiira region police spokesperson A.S.P James Mubi speaking to Nbs fm said that the reason as to why they are patrolling is to keep law and orders.

He also revealed that 49 suspects who were arrested on Monday 25th in parts of Namulesa, Mafubira and Buwenge have been taken to court to be charged with offense
