JINJA: RDC Erick Ssakwa warns the business community

RDC Jinja Erick Ssakwa has warned the business community over increasing prices of their essential items to their customers in the district.


While addressing press yesterday evening at his office, Ssakwa said that this is against the law of undermining the presidential directive and therefore as concerned authorities are ready to follow up with this directive and ensure that culprits are dealt with accordingly.

He has added that as security they have started investigating on the case in which the security officer who threatened to shoot the gentleman who was manning at the entrance of Jinja central market last evening.


It is alleged that the security officer pulled out a gun from his vehicle after refusing to wash the hands in an effort to fight the COVID 19
