Balaam Barugahara is a loyal supporter of President Museveni. He however trashes rumors that his businesses have been successful because of President Museveni.
Balaam says his success is because of hard work and resilience.
“I started doing my business before I started supporting President Museveni. You can’t attribute my business success to President Museveni,” he said.
Balaam also said that he doesn’t give money to people to support President Museveni but he tell them the truth about Museveni’s government.
He says the government has done alot for Ugandans and that is why he can’t shy away from supporting the President.
“I keep telling people not to come to my office for money because I don’t have money to give any one . I do my mobilisation purely by telling people the truth,” he said this during the morning breeze program on NBS Television with Simon Kagwa Njaala.
He added,”I need to support who ever the President appoints in a leadership role. If I can’t take any role, i have to be supportive of his choices. He has made very good choices with his appointments. No one understands the Ghetto like Bobi Wine and Buchaman . I know how good they are when it comes to ghetto affairs because they have lived in that environment. President appointing Buchaman for Ghetto affairs is a good move,” he said.
Balaam however cautioned the new appointees to be respectful to the leaders and arms of the NRM government
