The Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has lashed out at the Police for failing to protect artiste Bebe Cool as he was being pelted with bottles during Cindy’s Show on Saturday.
In a Monday morning tweet, the first son also blamed the Police for failure to reign in on ‘hooligans’ who beat up President Yoweri Museveni’s supporters on Women’s Day. “How could @PoliceUg and the bouncers at Cindy’s Concert allow a few hooligans to hurl bottles at one of Uganda’s greatest artists?” Muhoozi asked in a tweet. Bebe Cool was performing at Cindy’s Boom Party Concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval when he was booed, heckled and told to get off stage over his loyalty to President Museveni and the ruling National Resistance Movement. As he persisted, several individuals hurled empty plastic bottles, others full of urine, at the Kasepiki singer.
