The electoral commission boss Justice Simon Byabakama has said that no candidate will be allowed to conduct any fundraising occasion after being nominated.

According to Byabakama, after all the candidates have been nominated in October next year, 2020, all forms of fundraising must cease.

He also says that when the campaigns start, no one should out any donation or receive any donation for any one since they will all be handled as corrupt candidates and penalties will apply.

He says that all those who will to do the above donations or conduct fundraising occasion, they must use the period before October next year.

He also says that at a moment, there are no approved candidates for the 2021 presidential position as it has been preserved in the media until they are nominated by the electoral commission.
