Busoga region should embrace the growing of Indigenous crops rather than generotic seeds if its to shift from the worst poorest region in Uganda.

The advice was given by the Chairperson of Namalemba sub county in Bugweri district plus Isabirye Waikonkome while speaking to Nbs fm’s Ahmed Ngobi

He added that Busoga being ranked as the poorest region is due to planting of Sugarcane
