Persons With Disabilities at Busia border have encouraged themselves to develop the culture of working and forming savings groups, which can help them to get money and they can start up some business like cross border business, other than getting involved in stealing and begging around shops, which tempted one to steal money from the counter of a certain shop along custom road.

Most Persons With Disabilities at Busia border and from other districts like Namaingo, Bugiri and Tororo have paraded their wheel chair bicycles at Busia border to carry out business, but some others have developed the habit of begging around town while others have involved themselves in stealing people’s property.

As for now at least Six Persons With Disabilities have been remanded at Masafu prisons on allegations of stealing money from the shops and the others, stole a crates of soda and empty jerrycans to sell scrapes and they earn a living.
