Residents at Kubo parish in Masafu sub county in Busia district, have raised their concern about unprotected water they share with animals, and right now they have low clean water coverage.
The parish has around a total population of around 18000 people, with only 4 villages and with 10 boreholes in the whole parish and 6 are already broken down.
These was disclosed during the community engagement meeting which was held at kubo trading center, organized by the women of Uganda network [WOUGNET], an organization which promotes and support the use of information communication technologies among women to address development issues on national sustainable service delivery.
The resident leaders in the area like BYASI FRED and WAFULA MEJJA, appealed to the government to avail them with boreholes. From Busia by martin.
